At an early age, Encore Financial Group principal and founder, Dennis Hesselink, learned the importance of hard work and the need for purposeful planning. His father died young and left his mom with seven young children and a $5,000 life insurance plan. Not surprising, the years ahead were hard ones. Along with helping in local food kitchens and the like, we frequently participate in community programs to share important information about solutions like long-term health care, social security and life insurance. We believe it is important to talk about these things both in our offices as well as out in the community. Finally, our advisors work in the communities in which they live, making the ties to their work and community that much more meaningful and impactful. That’s why we created Encore For Gifting, a way to give back to what matters to our communities. Encore For Gifting is a program designed to benefit local charities nominated by our community members and chosen by a panel of Encore representatives, staff, and clients. Four times per calendar year, four different 501(c)(3) entities will be awarded $1,000.
