Dennis began his career in the insurance and financial services industry in 1977.  In 1999 he became a Division General Manager for GE Financial, relocating to the West Coast and then the northern East Coast.  After opening the New York market, he returned to Michigan.  He started Encore Financial Group in November 2004 with a vision to create an agency where agents work collaboratively as a team to meet clients’ needs.  It is a mission that continues today.  His personal goal is to assist individuals and families with their personal insurance, financial planning, and retirement needs. Dennis is a financial advisor and estate planner and holds the certifications of Six Sigma Greenbelt, CLU®, ChFC®, LUTCF, CFP®, and AEP®.  He has served on the GE Securities Compliance Board and as Chairman of Ohio National’s Advisory Board.  He was a member of Ohio National’s Executive Council and Council of Honor along with recipient of the GAMA Internation Management Award for multiple years.  He is currently Chairman of the McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital board.

His hobbies include boating, golfing, working on his farm property, and most of all, spending time with his family.
