Dennis has been in the insurance and financial services industry since 1977. In 1980 he moved to Cheboygan as a District Manager, and later served in California and Pennsylvania in division management positions for GE Financial. After opening the New York market, he moved back to Michigan. In November 2004 Dennis founded Encore Financial Group. His vision was, and still is, to have an agency where agents successfully work as a team in order to meet their clients’ needs. Read the full Encore Financial Group story here. 

Dennis experienced the loss of his father at a young age.  There was virtually no financial protection in place for their family.  His goal is to help individuals and families with their personal insurance, financial planning, and retirement needs. As an accredited estate planner and financial advisor, he wants to help people understand the implication of the decisions they make.

Dennis holds the certifications of CLU®, ChFC®, LUTCF, CFP®, and AEP®. He served as chairman of the Ohio National Field Advisory Board and on various other committees within his industry.  He received the GAMA International Management Award several times and was a part of Ohio National’s Executive Council and Council of Honor for many years.  Dennis currently serves on the McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital board.  His hobbies include boating, golfing, working in his small orchard and farm property, and most of all, spending time with his family.
